Outline and Finish a Basic First Draft in just a Few Weeks
Begins October 8 and ends October 30th
For many, the excitement and stress over NANO are beginning to hit. But why wait for November to roll around each year to complete a first draft? Why not learn a few tricks now on how to outline and finish a basic first draft of your novel in just a few weeks?
By getting ready, prepping that novel outline, and being accountable during the workshop. We’ll cover basic character profiles, their purpose in the book, conflict, and demonstrate that a first draft can easily be finalized in just a few short weeks.
I’ll take you through several steps that will help you put together a basic outline for your story, digging in deeper what the 3 main parts of a novel should contain, help build a character profile of key players and their purpose, and more. I’ll show you a simple method I use that’s allowed me time to write every day, always moving my WIPS forward. This year alone, I’ve completed three workshop ebooks and 1 novel going through the editing stages, 1 novel already published, and finished a basic outline for a new series.
There’s a reason why I keep mentioning the word ‘basic’ which I’ll go into detail during the course. The workshop is to show you that a ‘basic’ first draft can be finished in just a few weeks.
Along with the workshop, for those that complete and participate in the full workshop, I’ll offer comments/edits of your first 1k words of your novel completed during October.
