Practical Blogs for Writers
You’ve heard that you should have a blog. Writing some articles seems easy enough, but how do you set up a blog? If that part baffles you, this workshop is for you.
Susan K. Stewart, blog coordinator for the Mount Hermon Writers Conference, gives non-technical advice on how to start a blog using WordPress. From purchasing a URL to setting up a simple-to-use blog platform to writing the first post, Susan will give step-by-step instructions to get started.
When she’s not tending chickens, peacocks, and donkeys, Susan K. Stewart teaches, writes, and edits non-fiction. She has twenty years of experience proofreading and editing magazines, books, ebooks, and blogs. Susan was editor of The Parent Educator magazine, a blog content manager for several organizations, and has published three books. Her book, “Formatting e-Books for Writers,” was released in March 2016 and received an AWSA Silver Scroll Merit Award.
Susan also teaches writing and editing workshops online and in person. Susan’s passion is to inspire readers with practical, real-world solutions.
